Lighthouse Academy is a childcare center that provides quality care and education for children from six weeks to twelve years of age. We focus on the development of each child intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically.

We are looking for additional DCFS qualified teachers to join our team who can provide our students with a safe, loving and nurturing educational experience.

Key Job Responsibilities:

- As an infant teacher, plan and implement developmentally appropriate skills for infants. Teachers will make sure children meet all age appropriate milestones and address ongoing developmental needs of the infants. As a teacher you will maintain a cohesive learning environment.

- Communicate professionally and respectfully with children, families and co-workers.

- Maintain a safe, healthy and clean environment.

- Professional collaboration with co-teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school and the collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.

- Positive and enthusiastic attitude in any situation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
