Slinger Truck Driver ($24.50 / hr and up)

We utilize late model slinger trucks with state-of-the-art technology to place materials directly where they are needed.

As we grow and expand we’re looking for someone to step into a slinger truck in the Columbus Ohio area and help us deliver quality slinging for our customers.

Overview :

As a slinger truck operator, you will haul and place gravel, dirt, sand, and mulch. Your goal will be to safely, quickly, and accurately place material in a manner that leaves our customers satisfied and desiring to refer our services to others.

Your success will contribute to the advancement of Rock Chuckers as the foremost slinger company in the Midwest while simultaneously developing your personal skills as an expert slinger operator.

Requirements :

Not everyone has the ability to be a slinger operator, to be seriously considered you must have the following :

• License - Class B CDL with Medical Card.
• Skills - You must be able to operate heavy equipment in a construction environment. All of our drivers have the ability to coordinate their movements with what they are seeing and quickly make adjustments as needed.
• Character - You will be working on your own in this position so you must be self-sufficient and able to make quality decisions on the job site.

Responsibilities :

As a Rock Chuckers slinger truck driver, you will work towards achieving the goals and vision of the company through your personal experience, skills, and character.

Your daily responsibilities will be as follows :

• Slinging rock, dirt, sand, and mulch in a way that pleases customers and causes them to desire to continue to do business with us.
• Operating a slinger truck in an efficient manner to minimize wear on the truck.
• Interacting with quarry operators in such a way that they are glad to see your slinger truck pull into the pit.
• Interacting with customers to give them a sense of fulfillment and a desire to promote Rock Chuckers to others.
