Full Potential Adult Autism Services is Hiring a Direct Support Professional Near Pittston, PA
Seeking an immediate hire for a Direct Support Professional to join our team! I am looking for a person to assist a male consumer with autism in the Pittston area. Responsibilities include assistance with daily living tasks. It would be three days a week and every other Saturday for 12-15 hours per week (There is some flexibility in the schedule).
Further Responsibilities:
- Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
- Collaborate with clients and families for the best care opportunities
- Document daily activities and reporting
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with adults with disabilities
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must hold a Spectrum 2.0 certificate (free online training of this course will be provided by the agency and must be completed before the start date)
*Additional orientation and ongoing training will be required throughout the year and provided by the agency.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
Schedule:
- Weekends as needed
