Job Details
Title: Claims - Claims Support Assistant / Data Entry Clerk Location: Pittsfield, MA Duration: 6 months
This position will require someone to work in the Pittsfield office 3 days per week and 2 days remote.
Job Description: Responsibilities:
- Transfer data from client submissions into computer files or database systems using keyboards.
- Type in data provided directly from clients.
- Create accurate spreadsheets with large numbers of figures.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
- Update existing data in spreadsheets.
Requirements and skills:
- Proven experience as data entry clerk.
- Excellent knowledge of spreadsheets (i.e. Excel).
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices.
- Basic understanding of computer networks.
- Great attention to detail.
- High school degree or equivalent.
