As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our products, services, or systems meet established quality standards, including reliability, usability, and performance. Your responsibilities include reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback, and creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. You must have proven experience in software quality assurance and working with cross-functional teams and the ability to collaborate with developers and team leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement QA Processes:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and functionalities.
- Testing and Inspection:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
- Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and cases.
- Strong knowledge and proven experience implementing software testing in an agile development environment.
- Strong knowledge and proven experience with bug reporting tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Experience with performance and security testing.
