Li Industries, Inc. is Hiring a Quality Specialist Near Pineville, NC

We are a start-up focused on improving the environmental impact of batteries through innovative recycling processes for battery materials. We are looking for hands-on facilities and administrative personnel to support business operations, facilities maintenance, and office support duties. This position is the first line of communication within the company and the right candidate must act in a highly professional and enthusiastic manner. This position must successfully manage multiple, conflicting priorities in a calm, collected, professional manner and think and act efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

·Responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with quality, safety regulations, implementing environmentally sustainable practices, and managing facility operations.

  • Develop quality protocols and direct preparation for ISO reviews.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure and hazard-free workplace, including the completion and maintenance of OSHA Form 300 forms.
  • Conduct regular quality and safety audits and inspections, identifying and addressing potential improvements/risks.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations,
  • Manage waste disposal, recycling programs, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
  • Oversee facility operations, including quality, maintenance, security, and space management.
  • Help to develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Environmental Health Safety Management System (QEHSMS) that aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality, safety and environmental consciousness.
  • Assist Emergency Services as needed
  • Special projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Facility Management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of quality and safety regulations (ISO, OSHA, EPA, etc.) and environmental best practices
  • Strong work ethic with excellent attendance; must be on-time and reliable
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer focus
  • Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication in English
  • Must display a high degree of professionalism (i.e., office image and dress) with a positive approach; demonstrated ability to interact professionally and effectively with diverse groups of people
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and office equipment
  • Team player with ability to work independently under general supervision; self-starter that possesses a sense of urgency
  • Detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to process information quickly and successfully manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Results-oriented with outstanding time management, organization, and follow up skills
  • Creative, yet practical with problem-solving
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident - Required

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

  • Led ISO audit preparation
  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
  • OSHA 30 Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
