Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Medication Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medication administration and a passion for providing quality care to patients in various healthcare settings. Duties: - Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers - Monitor and record vital signs of patients - Assist with activities of daily living for patients - Maintain accurate and detailed medication records - Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients - Provide compassionate care to individuals in nursing homes, medical offices, or home care settings - Handle medications for patients with dementia and those requiring tube feeding Qualifications: - Previous experience in medication administration, preferably in a nursing home, medical office, or home care setting - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Ability to accurately measure and administer medications - Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is a plus - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Compassionate attitude towards senior care patients If you are a caring individual with a background in medication administration and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity as a Medication Technician.
