POSITION DESCRIPTION
The General Manager (GM) directs and oversees the operations of an Egg N Bird corporate store. The GM is responsible for operational excellence, including guest service, store cleanliness & organization, and staffing as well as sales growth, profitability, and assisting in the improvement of the Egg N Bird business model.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUCTIONS
· Ensures that the store performs to a high level of operational excellence.
· Manages the store’s profitability to meet KPI standard costs.
· Prepares, analyzes, and delivers on a weekly basis, a KPI report for the store.
· Writes or approves the store’s weekly labor schedule in a timely manner and in accordance with the store’s guest service needs and the store’s labor model. Manages labor daily to meet store’s labor model.
· Orders or approves all orders in a timely manner and in accordance with the store’s needs and the store’s cost of goods model. Manages food usage daily to meet store’s cost of goods model.
· Spends the majority of time in store monitoring and improving performance and coaching the Team.
· Steps into functional positions as needed to assist the Team and to improve labor productivity, while maintaining oversight of the entire operation.
· Ensures that employees are properly trained & treated well, and that all Human Resources standards are followed.
· Is readily available to Shift Leads and Team Members to answer questions, solve problems, and provide advice as needed.
· Works with the Area Operations Manager to grow and improve the business.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
· Some college or equivalent experience.
· Culinary or Restaurant Management certificate a plus.
· Two Years Minimum: General Manager Experience in Food & Beverage Industry.
· Proficient in English, both verbal and written
· Valid California Food Handlers and/or ServSafe required prior to first day.
