Our client in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a dedicated and experienced Machine Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of previous manufacturing or machine operator experience and will be responsible for setting up, operating, and tending machines that apply wet coatings to various materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a robot-controlled coating machine
• Verify dimensions of specifications to ensure accurate production.
• Monitor machines and process materials visually.
• Check all information on production orders and perform quality checks on each job.
• Perform machine adjustments and routine maintenance.
• Prepare coating solutions according to instructions.
• Load and unload materials on and off the coating machine.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma.
• 1-2 years of previous manufacturing or machine operator experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail.
• Basic math skills; ability to read blueprints and construction documents preferred.
• Mechanical inclination and ability to use various hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Capability to prepare coating solutions per instructions.
• Proficient in loading and unloading materials on and off the coating machine.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Verifying dimensions of specifications.
• Visually monitoring machines and processed materials.
• Checking all information on production orders and completing quality checks.
• Performing machine adjustments and routine maintenance.
• Preparing coating solutions per instructions.
• Loading and unloading materials on and off the coating machine.

Pay Rate/Shifts:

• $18.00 to $19.80 /hr
• Monday to Friday
• 1st Shift: 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM
