RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:

 Irrespective of any other responsibilities have the freedom and authority to initiate action to prevent product or service nonconformity, identify or record quality problems and recommend solutions.

• Understand and perform “L’ (Labor) and “J” (Job) Processing Specifications.

• Punch Injection Molded parts per specifications.

• Perform counts of parts Packaged in Cartons.

• Record appropriate entries on the Injection Molding shift reports.

• Cleaning of the Injection Molding Machine during down time.

• Understand and perform appropriate duties during shift transition period.

• Assist Level II operators as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES/SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING PREFERRED:

• Ability to perform basic Arithmetic. Pass the Daystar math test.
• Be able to write legibly.
• Ability to read and understand all required specifications relating to Injection Molding.

• Display a fair degree of Mechanical Aptitude.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

• Walking, Standing, Frequently
• Sitting, Kneeling, Stooping Frequently
• Lifting, Carrying Occasionally (50 lbs.)
• Noise, Inhalation, Temperatures Occasionally
