Minimum Requirements
Qualifications :
- High school diploma : college degree preferred
- Entry-level position
- Food or meat science education a plus
- Experience in a meat production facility a plus
- Must be able to work in a safety sensitive position
- Use of Microsoft Office Suite
Secondary Functions :
- Follow safe work processes
- Interacts with supervisors and co-workers regarding findings and recommendations
- Works in cold environment (about 30 degrees)
- Use of both hands
- Requires prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing of stairs
- Requires normal range of hearing and vision (including colors) to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports and laboratory results.
- Requires lifting to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation).
- Requires exposure to machines, chemicals, and solvents.
