Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, from case inception to trial preparation.
Duties:
- Conduct legal research and assist with case analysis
- Manage and organize case files and documents
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts
- Assist in trial preparation and attend court proceedings
- Perform administrative tasks to support attorneys
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Document review experience in a litigation setting
- Ability to assist in preparing for and attending trials
- Proficiency in project management to ensure case deadlines are met
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis
- Strong data entry skills to accurately input case information
- Experience in filing court documents and contracts
- Previous work as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant is preferred
- Administrative skills including transcribing legal documents
