This position is 100% focused on estimating, with no project management responsibilities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in their diverse blend of commercial construction projects, contributing to the continued growth and success within their organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Estimating: Conduct thorough and accurate estimates for a variety of commercial construction projects, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of project requirements, specifications, and timelines.

2. Bid Preparation: Prepare detailed and competitive bids, considering material costs, labor expenses, equipment, and other relevant factors. Collaborate with the bidding team to submit compelling and well-structured proposals.

3. Cost Analysis: Analyze project costs, identify potential cost-saving measures, and provide recommendations to enhance project profitability.

4. Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes for materials and services, ensuring the selection of reliable and cost-effective partners.

5. Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the Philadelphia construction market. Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to gather relevant information and ensure accurate project estimations.

7. Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed records of project estimates, bids, and relevant documentation. Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.

2. Certifications: OSHA 30 certification is required.

3. License: Valid driver's license is mandatory, as the successful candidate will be working in the Philadelphia market.

4. Knowledge: Familiarity with the Philadelphia construction market and local building codes is essential.
