We’re a small team with big ambitions, and we’re looking for a smart, capable individual to handle all aspects of our financial reporting.

About the Role

Our full charge bookkeeper will handle all aspects of our financial record keeping, including financial reporting, payroll processing, AP/AR, and reconciliations.

The right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years related experience. This is not an entry-level role; we are looking for someone who has a strong working knowledge of accounting fundamentals and is ready to dive in!

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Conduct account reconciliations
• A/P and A/R for multiple entities
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Prepare monthly sales, meals, and ABC tax reports
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
• Work with external CPA team to close out books and manage more complex financial transactions
• Provide administrative support to partners
• Communicate effectively with lenders, vendors, and employees

Required Qualifications

• minimum 5 years experience as a full charge bookkeeper or similar role
• prior experience managing books for multiple entities
• proficiency in Quickbooks, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and Google Docs
• strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• detail oriented with the ability to multitask and effectively manage competition tasks
• must submit to a criminal background screening

Preferred Qualifications

• bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar field
• proficiency in bill pay software, such as bill.com
