- Responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, budgeting, directing and controlling of EMS
- Coordinates department to achieve facility and community goals;
- Collaborates with finance and other departments to achieve facility goals;
- Ensures compliance with government and JC regulations for the department
- The EMS Manager must possess a high school degree; college degree preferred
- Current State Paramedic License
- 4-5 years of experience as paramedic in the field required. Minimum of three years’ management experience with demonstrated leadership and management skills preferred
- Current IDHS EMT-Paramedic Certification. Must have current BLS, or obtain within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS or obtain within 3 months of hire. NIMS certification.
