This role is part of Fugro’s Marine Geoconsulting team of experts, who provide consultancy services to our clients within the fields of geology, geoscience, geophysics, and geotechnical engineering. The Opportunity We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer, who is responsible for analyzing and interpreting high-quality offshore geo-data to provide accurate and customized advice to clients on their individual project needs. Your day-to-day duties and focus will include: Perform technical duties related to geotechnical engineering with support from a technical authority Analyze acquired geotechnical data and assist in the preparation of technical reports and documents to present the results of technical work Prepare calculation packs for all technical work completed and arrange review and approval by a technical authority Utilize geotechnical software and tools to interpret data and assess geotechnical soil conditions and potential geotechnical hazards for project sites The ability and willingness to perform fieldwork (typically 60 days per year) and travel if required.
