Are you interested in being a Pickleball Instructor for the Peoria Park District? Apply online today! Pay rate is $15.00-$20.00 per hour.
- Understand, interpret and maintain the Peoria Park District and Athletic Department's standards and policies.
- Responsible for teaching and instructing pickleball lessons to children and adults.
- Inventory equipment and make sure the environment is clean and safe for the participants.
- Teach classes and one day pickleball events and clinics
- Help organize and officiate a tournament
- Individual must be 18 years or older with preference given to an individual with training and pickleball playing experience.
- Desire and ability to work with children and adults.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Possess the ability to lead others in group and individual activities, demonstrating necessary steps and skills.
- The position requires effective communication with staff and program participants as well as the ability to respond effectively and quickly in varying situations.
