Dickey and Tremper, LLP, a premier full-service accounting firm located in Pendleton, Oregon, provides accounting, audit, and tax preparation services to businesses and individuals across the state. Due to continued growth, we’re currently seeking experienced and dedicated accountants with 2 years of public accounting experience to perform audit engagements for a diverse roster of clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform audit engagements for government entities, non-profit organizations and privately held businesses from start to finish
  • Draft financial statements, compilations and reviews
  • Research, analyze, and address financial statement and audit-related issues, recommending solutions and coordinating engagements to ensure high-quality services
  • Complete income tax planning and preparation
  • Mentor, supervise and train audit staff
  • Develop and cultivate professional client relationships

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Senior: 2 years of recent public accounting experience; CPA license or CPA candidate preferred
  • Manager: 4 years of recent public accounting audit experience; CPA license required
  • Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service, problem solving and PC skills including MS Office and accounting software proficiency (CCH ProSystem fx Engagement, Checkpoint Engage and AdvanceFlow software proficiency are a plus)
  • Ability to juggle priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and professionally communicate tasks to an engagement team that is clear and concise
  • Prior experience with government and nonprofit audits a plus
