Summary: We are looking to hire a part-time Youth Minister who will provide oversight and leadership to the youth ministry of Pelahatchie Baptist Church. The Youth Minister will partner with parents and youth volunteers in discipling youth, consistently engage students with the good news of the gospel, and support them in developing their love for Him and others.
To be successful in this position, the Youth Minister will be present in the lives of the youth in their various contexts. He will work to provide a place where students feel they can belong, believe the good news, and become lifelong disciples of Christ.
Youth Minister Qualifications:

5 – Youth Summer Camp
6 – Disciple Now Weekend
Discipleship/Mentoring Opportunity: As a young minister, he will have the opportunity to be discipled/mentored by the Senior Pastor with 23 years of ministry experience in a variety of fields: Pastoral, Youth Ministry, and Missions (12 years overseas with IMB). The Senior Pastor commits to weekly discipleship/mentoring meetings to provide training and equipping from his experience.
