Are you a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students?

The Pearsall School District is seeking a qualified SLPA Contractor to join our team and provide essential speech and language support to students.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Work under the guidance of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to assist in assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders in students.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized speech therapy plans.
  • Provide speech therapy services to students individually or in small groups, under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and progress.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting.
  • Stay current on best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Passion for helping students overcome speech and language challenges.
