Reports ToSenior Manager of Global Supply Chain
Job OverviewThe Procurement Specialist is a multi-faceted position that is focused on Sourcing / Procurement, Demand Planning, Logistics, and Maintaining & Growing our network of quality vendors. The Procurement Specialist will ensure purchase transactions are executed according to the policy and work directly with suppliers, and internal business cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Operations, Accounting, and Customer Service.
Responsibilities And Duties
  • Create and communicate purchase orders to our network of vendors / suppliers
  • Update the ship dates and ETAs in Net Suite for all the products by appropriate follow-ups
  • Create SKUs and UPCs for PAO products and components
  • Submit the approved invoices to accounting
  • Keeps records of factories’ offerings, cost, specs, and purchase orders
  • Negotiates with vendors to meet quality, on time delivery and cost objectives
  • Tracks product costs and pricing
  • Works with Accounting Dept to resolve any invoice discrepancies in a timely manner and maintains a system of checks and balances to ensure the accuracy of payments.
  • Responsible for setting up vendors in Net Suite
  • Create and/or update reports for Supply Chain
  • Weekly submission of forecast and re-order requirements for all finished products to Senior Manager of Global Supply Chain for further discussion
  • Review the demand for the packaging materials and internal components based on the finished products demand and keep them in stock at all times
  • Weekly submission of original vs expected ship dates changes for all finished products and reasons for their delay to Senior Manager of Global Supply Chain
  • Review the current forecast and recommend existing POs that need to be pushed back or pulled forward
  • Ensures all costs in our reports and ERP are accurate
  • Assist the Senior Manager of Global Supply Chain in generating KPIs for our supply chain partners and utilize them to make quarterly scorecards for our suppliers.
  • Responsible for coordinating meeting availability with all the suppliers for SHOT SHOW each year
  • Identifying cost savings opportunities
  • Other duties, as assigned, are within the Primary Arms Team

As such a position becomes available, the ideal candidate will have mastered all: (1) job responsibilities and duties and (2) the relationships of the Procurement Specialist position. The ideal candidate will have clearly demonstrated the ability to manage his/her own time, mastered how to effectively operate and communicate within our diverse supply chain, and to control all aspects of our inventory requirements accurately and efficiently.
