If you are an ASSEMBLER looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our PEARLAND, TX location, you will perform routine assembly of mechanical or electrical components.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Perform routine assembly of mechanical or electrical components requiring fitting, adjusting, and/or fabrication for final assembly of products
- Use various hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices such as tape measures, height gauges, and calipers
- Accurately read measuring devices to verify accuracy and placement of assembled components, making adjustments as necessary and/or notifying appropriate personnel of non-conformance
- Monitor pressure gauges and document readings for hydro testing
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood to crate finished products
- Perform multiple production tasks to allow for effective job rotation
- Recommend changes to and participate in the review of manufacturing procedures
- Perform daily organization and cleanup of work area
- Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions and incidents to supervision
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
