Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Nurse Practitioner with Pyramids Pharmacy, you will: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnosis. Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans tailored to patient needs. Provide patient education and counseling on health-related matters. Facilitate physician referrals and coordinate case management services. Independently assessing and managing acute and non-acute clinical conditions. Ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and diagnostic studies. Prescribing medications and treatments as appropriate. Referring patients to specialty services when necessary. Maintain clear and thorough documentation in accordance with organizational standards. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Adhere to departmental goals, regulatory requirements, and best practices in patient care. Requirements: Current Nurse Practitioner Certification in the State of practice. Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS). Board certification by AANP or ANCC (preferred). Current DEA number for prescribing controlled substances (if required by state). Credentialing with major insurance companies. Strong clinical performance metrics and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management abilities. Compassion, empathy, and attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. Education and Experience: Graduate degree in Nursing (Master's or Doctorate). Experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinical setting (preferred).
