Climate Masters, Inc. is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Pearl, MS

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Process and post incoming payments, including checks, credit card payments, and electronic transfers

- Review invoices for accuracy and completeness

- Perform account reconciliations to ensure all payments are properly recorded

- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with payments

- Generate and distribute customer statements

- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions

- Assist with month-end closing procedures

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving payment-related issues in a timely manner

Skills:

- Proficiency in technical accounting principles and practices

- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)

- Excellent 10-key typing skills for data entry accuracy

- Familiarity with account analysis and reconciliation processes

- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate effectively

- Knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance requirements is a plus

- Previous experience in public accounting is preferred
