Covenant Christian Academy is seeking a qualified professional in the area of visual arts education. The candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor’s degree in visual arts or equivalent art degree and have had experience teaching art in the classroom at the elementary and secondary school levels. The candidate will possess competency to engage in our distinctly Christian and classical model with a passion for teaching art in a variety of approaches, styles, and formats.
A Visual Arts faculty position includes, but is not limited to, the following:
The Visual Arts Faculty position is a full-time position with benefits. Supplemental income from after-school programs and/or individual art lessons may be available.
Qualifications include:
Contract runs: late August 2024 through June 2025; teaching is on a 10-month cycle.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Interested candidates should submit a letter of interest, professional resume, Christian faith statement, and philosophy of Christian education summary.
