Job Location: Intermountain Nutrition - Payson, UT
Salary Range: $14.00 - $15.00 Hourly
Job Shift: Day

Job Title: Quality Technician

Department: Quality

Direct Supervisor: Quality Supervisor/Lead

General Description: Quality (QA) technicians ensure company and customer quality standards are being met. They will work with a variety of inspection and test equipment and methods, processes, and products, ensuring proper procedures are being followed and documented in order to maintain product quality and record traceability. The quality technicians will also assist to ensure the nonconforming product is appropriately identified and removed from the production flow until such product can be dispositioned. Quality technicians typically work regular daytime weekday hours, but may also work nights and weekends depending on the needs of the company for which they work.

Job Functions and Duties (may include but are not limited to):

  • Performs batch record creation, review, and approval as outlined to product specification
  • Performs, monitors, and documents inspection and in-process checks in manufacturing
  • Performs verifications of equipment logs and verifies calibration
  • Conducts ATP swab tests - Daily and Weekly Line Swabs
  • Responsible for pulling in-process and finished good samples
  • Responsible for pulling raw material samples
  • Submitting samples for testing to either internal or external labs
  • Release or quarantine of materials upon receipt of completed testing
  • Responsible for AQL inspection of finished product if needed
  • Responsible for reviewing and releasing finished product for shipping
  • Works with and supports operation functions which involves Quality
  • Complies with FDA, cGMP, and other requirements
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Lead
  • Other tasks as assigned


Requirements:

  • Good oral and written expression

  • Basic math skills required
  • Well-organized
  • Detail oriented
  • Fluent in English
  • 2 years of Quality Experience
  • Manufacturing
  • GMP's

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
