About the Role:The EH&S Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) program that safeguards our employees, visitors, and the environment. This role is critical in ensuring our compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and oversee the EH&S program, ensuring alignment with company goals and best practices.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
  • Investigate safety incidents and accidents, implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees on various EH&S topics.
  • Maintain and update safety data sheets (SDS) and other EH&S documentation.
  • Oversee the management of hazardous materials and waste.
  • Stay abreast of changing environmental regulations and ensure company compliance.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with regulatory agencies.
  • Continuously improve the EH&S program through data analysis and program evaluation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar EH&S role.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local EH&S regulations.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EH&S programs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software (a plus).
