What you would be doing:
- Develop and implement strategic plans and operational policies to meet business objectives.
- Plan and oversee the day-to-day business to ensure smooth progress in manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, quality control, inventory management, safety, shipping and receiving.
- Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback. Provide guidance and support to the team.
- Determine and implement key performance metrics (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement while recognizing progress in performance.
- Manage the procurement processes - coordinate material and resources allocation. Ensure good relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners for a reliable supply chain.
- Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop and manage operations budget. Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.
- Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation with training programs for operations staff.
- Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
- 10 years’ experience in Operations within a manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities to motivate a team of supervisors and hourly workers.
- Outstanding communication and people skills.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM).
