The Digital Content Coordinator is an upbeat and organized individual who plays a pivotal role on the Digital Marketing Team. This role is primarily focused on creating, supporting, and publishing strategic social campaigns to drive brand awareness, grow the Minnesota Wild's social media footprint, generate revenue via corporate sponsorships and ultimately grow the State of Hockey.
Responsibilities/Essential FunctionsSupport strategies for unlocking new audiences and revenue opportunities while growing engagement with current fans.Interact with fans, run in-game contests, and cover the action live.Craft brand or product stories that will engage audiences on an emotional level.Assist with scheduling and posting photos, videos, articles etc. to all major social media platforms on a day-to-day basis that will engage and grow our various channels.Assist with giving day-to-day direction to department intern during season.Execute fan-focused and data-driven strategies with short deadlines.Assist with scheduling and posting photos, videos, articles etc. to all major social media platforms on a day-to-day basis that will engage and grow our various channels.Work closely with teams across the organization, including Creative Services, Video Production, B2C and B2B marketing, Hockey Operations and Ticketing.Attend:Community eventsFoundation eventsPlayer hospital visitsBrand activation initiatives (pregame parties, etc.)Home and away games (as needed)Any other event that requires content support

Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
College degree in marketing, communications, or other related field, sports emphasis is a plus.Knowledge of hockey is required.
Knowledge & Experience
Exposure using social media analytics is a plus.Proficiency in MS Word, Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.).Experience managing content for accounts on Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Tik Tok and YouTube.Previous experience working with a content calendar is preferred but not required.Experience with project management systems (Wrike preferred).

Work Conditions
