Ability to obtain and maintain an active SECRET clearance is required.

Functional Description:

• Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.
• Set operational specifications, formulate, and analyze software requirements.
• May design embedded systems software.
• Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.

Required Education:

• BA/BS degree.
• Security Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of filling the position)

Required Experience:

• 3 to 10 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.

Desired Experience:

• Demonstrated work experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience applying system patches and Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls.
