**Job Overview:**

We are actively seeking a dedicated, qualified, and experienced Preschool Director to oversee the daily operations and administration of our Learning Center program. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the field of early childhood develepment and lead management of the school. This is a Christian Learning Center, so we are looking for someone with a Christian attitude to lead from a religious perspective. We are here to nurture the minds and spirits of our young students, so we are actively searching for candidates with a professional attitude, appearance, and work ethic!

To be successful as a Preschool Director, you should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as love for children. You should uphold the vision of The Learning Center with pride and ensure that The Learning Center meets the relevant standard met by the state. Utlimately, the director will determine the needs of The Learning Center and protect the health and safety of the children.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement educational programs that align with state regulations and promote the cognitive, social, and emotional development of young children.

- Lead a team of teachers and staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

- Manage the preschool budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to support educational initiatives.

- Collaborate with parents and families to create a supportive and engaging learning environment for children.

- Oversee facility maintenance, safety protocols, and compliance with licensing requirements.

**Experience:**

- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; preferred but not required.

- Proven experience in education administration, including strategic planning, budgeting, and staff management.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

- Knowledge of state regulations governing preschool programs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively.

*Qualifications:

Must attend approved Mississippi Department of Health Director Training 1 and 2 and Playground Safety Courses to be certified as Director of the Child Care Facility.
