We are looking to add a Quality Assurance Inspector to our Pasadena team.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for implementing proper controls associated with the Quality Assurance Policy, directives, and procedures through the job functions of Receiving Inspection, In-Process, and Final Inspection.
SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Able to interpret Engineering Drawings, Geometric Dimensioning, and Tolerancing (GD&T).
· Familiar with inspection tools like micrometers, calipers, thread gages, optical comparators, etc.
· Perform Receiving Inspection, In-Process, and Final Inspection.
· Assure compliance of all parts/material to draw, customer contractual, and government requirements.
· Generate Material Rejection Report with all non-conforming material and route to the Material Review Board (MRB) for disposition.
· Knowledgeable of AS9100/ISO9001, FAA Requirements.
· Coordinate final shipping documentation.
· Investigates material discrepancies and provides disposition to Material Review Board.
· Completes AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports.
· Adherence to all aspects of the Kratos Quality Management System and Standard Inspection Criteria, Directives, and Work Instructions.
· Other duties as assigned.
Computer Skill Requirements:
Basic computer skills are required, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Education & Experience: College degree AA and two or more years of working experience in the aerospace & defense manufacturing industry as QC Inspector (mechanical, electrical)
