LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Medical Receptionist for a growing organization in Pasadena, CA. As a Medical Receptionist, you will provide the highest level of customer service to patients, fellow employees, and referral sources through the coordination and administration of the front office activities.
his position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
This position is an onsite position, Monday-Friday.
Key Responsibilities :
Welcome patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a hospitable atmosphere.
Guide patients through the registration process, meticulously capturing and inputting all necessary information into the system.
Confirm patient insurance coverage and secure essential authorizations for services.
Manage incoming calls and inquiries, furnishing patients and their families with information and support.
Coordinate appointments and procedures, liaising with healthcare providers and relevant departments.
Collect payments, including co-payments, deductibles, and outstanding balances, adhering to established financial protocols.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum 1 year in healthcare setting experience preferred.
Proficiency in computer usage, including electronic medical records systems.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
