Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Obstetrics/Family Practice Clinic, as well as our General Surgeyr Clinic Team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare, strong clinical skills, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients under the direction of the physician
• Perform initial assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and current symptoms.
• Assist with physician exams and procedures.
• Educate patients on diagnosis and treatment as necessary
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

Clinical Support:

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including electronic health records (EHR).
• Prepare and assist with minor surgical procedures
• Perform lab tests, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing as necessary.

Patient Education:

• Provide counseling and education to patients
• Offer guidance on options, including efficacy, side effects, and proper usage.
• Teach patients about prenatal nutrition, breastfeeding, and newborn care.

Quality Improvement:

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic processes.
• Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices in healthcare.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Kansas.
• Minimum of 1 years of clinical experience desired.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
