UGA Finance is a growing financial technology company that offers consumers credit options at the point of sale. We are a leader in providing financing and servicing for unsecured lending in key verticals, including Education, Medical, Membership and Consumer Goods.

The Finance Intern will be an integral part of the Finance Program Services team by handling a variety of responsibilities that contribute to the overall efficiency of business operations. The Associate Financial Analyst will assist in the full lifecycle analysis of business operations, create reports for finance program data sets, and provide daily back up administrative support as needed to FPS department members.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Work with FPS team members to interpret operational data and provide ongoing reports to internal departments
• Assist in report analysis and updates to accounts in our system-of-record
• Present financial models and reporting to internal and external parties
• Work with Financial Data Analyst to analyze current business performance and build statistical models to extrapolate current trends into forward-looking forecasts
• Manage cases/requests to and from clients
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Conceptual understanding of finance
• Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
