Henry County Medical Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team of excellent healthcare professionals. At HCMC, we believe that successful partners are able to provide exceptional patient care that is so very important to the patient’s comfort and safety. Candidates need to be customer focused and friendly in dealing with all age populations. The RRT provides care, treatment and rehabilitation to patients with pulmonary disorders by means of respiratory therapy. RRT’s have knowledge of pharmacy, anatomy, and physiology and make judgments in consultation with a physician and other members of the health care team with regard to the respiratory care that patients receive. Proficient technical skills in the performance of respiratory therapies. Working knowledge of current trends in respiratory therapies; specialty technical standards, equipment supplies; safety principles and practices.
One year experience in an acute care hospital experience managing trauma and emergency situations. TN Respiratory Therapist License. Willing to train new graduates.
Education:
Graduate from AMA accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
Licenses/Certifications:
Possess a current and valid Tennessee Respiratory Care Practitioners Certificate. Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist Credential is required
Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS
Must either meet NBRC Eligible Req. or advanced placement exam, or be RRT.
