Under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Services Medical Director and Department Manager, the Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physicians orders, department policies and procedures.
One year experience in an acute care hospital experience managing trauma and emergency situations. TN Respiratory Therapist License. Willing to train new graduates.
Education:
Graduate from AMA accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
Licenses/Certifications:
Possess a current and valid Tennessee Respiratory Care Practitioners Certificate. Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist Credential is required
Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS
Must either meet NBRC Eligible Req. or advanced placement exam, or be RRT.
