Job Summary

The Cultivation Technician will work as part of a team to maintain a full-cycle indoor beyond organic, no-till living soil garden in Parachute, Colorado. This person will assist in daily operations related to growing, harvesting, and processing plants through the post-harvest process.

Full Job Description

• Attending to a no-till living soil craft cultivation facility.
• Responsible for executing assigned tasks, projects, and expectations of the cultivation department in accordance with our standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
• Irrigation and feeding with organic nutrients in a living soil system.
• Working to maintain the health of the plants through trellising, pruning, and training plants.
• Transplanting clones to beds and harvesting on schedule.
• Cleaning up and putting tools and equipment away after a task is complete, promoting and maintaining the cleanliness and quality of the Garden.
• Working collectively and respectfully with other members of the cultivation team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of executed tasks.
• Maintain a level of cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.
• Follow EPA & MSDS regulations.
• Ensure MED Rules and Regulations are followed, including no product leaves the facility without going through proper channels.
• Adherence to all regulatory, safety and corporate requirements.
• Ensure consistent quality.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development, as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage high stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task.
• At least 21 years of age, holds a current MED badge, and is authorized to work in the US.
• Proper employment documentation.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work weekends, if requested.
• Take ownership and personal responsibility for the quality and productivity of their work.

Physical Demands

• Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for extended periods.
• Exposure to dusts, odors, heat and/or low temperatures; low humidity, high humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables.

Desirable

• Experience and/or desire to learn to grow in a beyond organic no-till living soil garden.
• Previous manufacturing/ laborer experience.
• General tool, hardware, ladder, and building skills.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
