Job Overview:

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with various needs, including seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct care and support to individuals in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications and assist with medical appointments
- Support individuals with meal preparation and feeding
- Engage individuals in social activities and recreational outings
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed
- Assist with mobility, including lifting and transferring individuals
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the individuals
- Implement behavioral support plans for individuals with autism

Experience:

- Experience in dementia care, senior care, or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care tasks
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- First aid certification is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
