Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. Your role will involve monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling designated areas, and responding to security incidents.
Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities or security breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance and take appropriate action
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including incident reports, security logs, and shift reports
- Enforce company policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized access or violations
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and providing directions
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during investigations or emergencies
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
- Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations and crisis management
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control systems, and other security equipment
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Familiarity with surveillance techniques and procedures
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Previous experience in law enforcement or loss prevention is beneficial
