Trinity Christian College Association is Hiring an Admissions Representative Near Palos Heights, IL

Trinity Christian College seeks a full-time Admissions Representative. The Admissions Representative is directly responsible for the management of a designated caseload of prospective students with the primary goal of supporting students through the admissions process. The ideal candidate will have a love for Christian higher education and a strong desire to walk with incoming students through their college discernment process.

The essential duties and responsibilities of these positions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Advises prospective students and parents regarding the college search process, college life, and likelihood of acceptance and academic success at Trinity Christian College.
  • Exercises discretion and independent judgment in planning and implementing a strategy for territory management to meet assigned recruitment goals.
  • Travels to and visits schools, churches, college fairs and similar events to recruit student applicants.
  • Builds relationships with key recruitment contacts such as guidance counselors or advisors, community leaders, and alums.
  • Engages in lead generation efforts and the conversion of prospective student inquiries to applicants and, ultimately, to enrolled students
  • Advises prospective students and their families on the financial aid process.
  • Develops relationships with appropriate academic and non-academic campus departments, including Trinity’s office of the registrar, financial aid, student life, and faculty, to ensure clear communication to prospective students in the recruitment process.
  • Reports activities and results achieved in recruitment efforts, using data to inform and direct those efforts.
  • Participates in visits and events organized through the Admissions Office, as well as special College events as directed.
  • Provides additional support in the recruitment work of the Admissions Office, as needed.

A Bachelor’s degree from and accredited institution is required. Prior experience at a Christian liberal arts institution and/or in the areas of admissions, marketing, or sales preferred. Trinity Christian College alum preferred. Experience utilizing an admissions CRM, such as Slate, preferred.

The Admissions Representative works across campus departments and engages with external contacts to ensure the recruitment process and experience is smooth, effective, and continually improving. Admissions representatives work independently and in conjunction with the Director to make admissions decision and judgements related to the student recruitment process. The position also engages with prospective families, students, alumni, schools, and other key constituents throughout the recruitment process.

Trinity Christian College seeks candidates that have a personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ, and a sincere allegiance to the mission of the college.
