Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide essential care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs. Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and independence
- Support individuals in accessing community resources and participating in recreational activities
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
- Lift and transfer individuals as needed (including heavy lifting)
- Drive individuals to appointments or outings as required

Qualifications:
- Experience in patient care, childcare, or home care is preferred
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage challenging behaviors with patience and empathy
- Willingness to undergo any necessary training or certifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Note: All positions at our organization are paid, including internships.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $17.50 per hour
