Cure Cardiovascular Consultants is Hiring a Medical Assistant (Part-Time) Near Palm Springs, CA
We are a very busy private practice with a single physician and nurse practitioner on staff. We do see patients continuously throughout the day. We are looking for Medical Assistants that have experience in both back office procedures as well as working with insurance companies. The job duties are as follows:
1. Preparing patient charts daily.
2. Perform routine office tests such as EKG, suture/staple removal, wound care.
3. Take vital signs using manual blood pressure cuff/stethoscope.
4. Assist with patient questions, taking questions and getting answers from Dr or NP.
5. Medication reconciliation.
6. Submit prior authorizations.
7. Check-in & Check-out patients.
8. Answer phone calls.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
