Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lathe Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming dual spindle live tooling lathes as well as standard 3-axis lathes, with a strong background in CNC machining and a keen eye for detail. As a Lathe Programmer, you will play a critical role in our production process, ensuring that our machines operate efficiently and produce high-quality aerospace components and prototypes.

Responsibilities:

• Program and operate dual spindle live tooling lathes and standard 3-axis lathes to produce precision aerospace components and prototypes.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs for new and existing parts.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to create accurate machine programs.
• Set up and operate CNC lathes, ensuring proper tooling and fixturing.
• Perform machine adjustments and troubleshooting to maintain production quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes.
• Conduct first article inspections and make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of programs, setups, and tooling.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Lathe Programmer, specifically with dual spindle live tooling lathes and standard 3-axis lathes.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and machining techniques.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks, GibbsCam).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree is a plus.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
