Hours: Tues-Thurs 7:30am-5pm, one week a month the hours are Mon-Wed 7:30-5pm. Working on a fourth day during the week is optional for a total of 25-35 hours per week.

Work in an upbeat office with an amazing team and a caring orthodontist. We are looking for someone who has a great attitude, is a team player, and is willing to work hard. Excellent organizational skills. Dental experience preferred.

Job Duties:

• Excellent customer service skills, being friendly to your patients
• Monitor patient arrival time
• Set up operatories for procedures
• Assist doctor in any and all procedures (band/bond, adjustments, intraoral scans, delivering appliances)
• Change orthodontic elastics and archers, place spacers, fit bands
• Take x-rays, photos, and impressions as needed
• Instruct your patient on good oral hygiene and elastic wear
• Communicate with parents regarding what happened during each appointment
• Write charts accurately and in a timely manner on each patient
• Sterilization
• Pour up impressions, fabricate clear retainers
• Abide by the CDC/OSHA standards on cleaning/Sterilizing
• Clean office as needed
• Train new hires
• Keep all operatories stocked, organized, and clean
• Monitor inventory, order supplies as needed
• Assist with answering phones & unpacking supplies
• Schedule patients as needed
• Be an active participant in team meetings
• Participate in marketing events which may occur after hours and/or on weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
