Assists physician in examinations which may include taking bloodpressure pulse temperature and respiration. Keeps rooms cleaned andstocked with necessary supplies.

Takes and returns patient phonecalls as directed by Physician. Gives instructions to patients asinstructed by physician.

Requisitions supplies as needed tomaintain adequate stock. Assists with the maintenance of themedical record including completion of referral forms lab slips andother pertinent documentation as requested by the Physician.

Assists patients getting to and from exam rooms preparing for examas requested and during procedures. Assists with any nursingprocedure as directed by the Physician.

Assists the patients asneeded getting to and from the exam rooms prep patients for examand treatments. Assists in other areas as requested by Managerand / or Clinical Coordinator operating within the guideline of MAcertification.

Must work as a member of a team and be flexible.Schedule and Shift Details Fulltime day shift positions with MFschedules.

Requirements

• HighSchool / GED
• 2years in a formal Medical Assistant curriculum special training forMedical Assistants (2years)
• 3years of demonstrated relevant experience as a Medical Assistant ina medical setting (3years)
