Part-Time Forklift Operator
Job description
SUMMARY: Expert Staffing West is looking for Full Time Forklift drivers for a cold storage facility working with produce. You will be removing pallets from trucks and racking them onto shelves. Drivers will complete logs upon each shipment and retrieve new orders via the dispatching office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maneuvering forklifts safely in busy industrial environments.
- Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets.
- Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport. Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas.
- Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions.
- Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
- Using industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to safely stack and package goods for transport.
- Keeping up to date on health and safety requirements and forklift operating procedures.
- REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST have 2 or more years of experience on sit-down forklift
- 2 prong forklift preferred, 4 prong is experience is a plus
- MUST know how to rack in a warehouse with 2 or more stories high
- Must be able to stay in cold storage for long periods of time
- MUST have recent experience with produce
- MUST PASS BACKGROUND
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour

- Work hours will be 5:00pm -10:00pm 3-4 days per week.
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
