- Travel approximately 50% of the time, including air travel and extensive driving.
- Design and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies.
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to align fundraising with organizational goals.
- Engage in face-to-face and virtual donor solicitations.
- Develop corporate/foundation donation and grant strategies.
- Create and execute a strategic plan for donor cultivation and solicitation.
- Prepare solicitation and briefing materials.
- Set and achieve revenue goals with the COO.
- Maintain positive relationships with volunteer leadership and Fraternity staff.
- Train volunteers on fundraising.
- Stay updated on fundraising trends and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Experience in non-profit fundraising.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting volunteer teams.
- Preferred: Fundraising experience in membership organizations or educational settings.
- Understanding of tax guidelines for non-profit gifts and endowments.
- Self-starter, willing to travel extensively, work long hours, including nights and weekends.
