C & W Global is Hiring a Dispatcher Near Oxford, AL
Overview:
We are interested in hiring a Dispatcher who can work closely with our contract and employee drivers to maximize expenditures and deliver the highest possible level of service to our customers. The successful candidate will track and coordinate fleet movement using Samsara Fleet Tracking system. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Communication with Drivers, Customers and Management with timely Dispatch of Customer movements, work with company drivers as well as contract drivers on reporting, keeping up with Maintenance (PM’s) of vehicle, Inspections etc.
Other responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls into the Terminal
- Experience with McCleod Software would be a bonus
- Cultivate strong relationships with Drivers and Customers
- Help recruit and retain both contract and company drivers.
- Monitor any sudden changes in dispatch and re act accordingly
- Collaborate with Management on Rates and Lanes to accommodate the needs of customers
- The successful candidate for this position needs to be able to adjust to last minute changes and work with drivers to schedule pick and delivery for new or established customers when necessary.
Qualification Requirements:
- At least one year of previous truck dispatch experience.
- Experience with Mcleod Trucking software is a bonus and will be compensated as such.
- High School diploma (some College would be preferred)
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule if demands change
- Proficient in MS Office / Excel
- Ability to work in a team environment in what sometimes can be high pressure situations
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
- Self-motivated with good work ethic
- Organizational skill set
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
