Job Description: Physical Therapist (Outpatient)Job Type: Permanent Position
Location: Owosso, MI 48867
Shift: Days
Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Salary: $31.88/hour (Dependent upon Experience)
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our outpatient clinic in Owosso, MI. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and providing therapy treatments to patients with a variety of conditions. This is a permanent, full-time position with a day shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient goals. Implement therapy treatments using appropriate techniques and modalities. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications. Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with regulations. Participate in continuous education and professional development activities. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in Michigan.
- Proven experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
- Knowledge of current physical therapy practices and techniques.
- BLS certification is required.
